Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In 2015, she was in the character of Jerrica Jem on the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her younger sister is of Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey was a part of The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory of the 2012 class. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to allow her in for a second entry because she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples was in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular part in Necessary Rustness (1991). She appeared in made for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role on the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the top actors under twenty years old old in September 2014.
